Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Kisses

With Valentine’s Day just a week away, why not try a different type of kiss?  A chocolate, peanut butter covered one perhaps…
This vegan-friendly, no-bake, easy recipe is absolutely delicious and I bet you will want to have more than just one kiss!!

Serves 33

Ingredients:

1/3 cup (120 ml) organic quick oats
1/4 cup (60 ml) vegan unsweetend protein powder (as natural as possible)
2 tbsp (30 ml)  hulled hemp seeds (optional)
2 tbsp (30 ml) organic ground flaxseed
1/4 cup (60 ml) vegan semi-sweet natural chocolate chips
pinch sea salt
1 cup (240 ml) all natural peanut butter
2 tbsp (30 ml) Earth Balance vegan butter
1/2 cup (120 ml) packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) Honey Bunny, Organic Liquid Clover Honey

Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together oats, protein powder, hemp seeds, flaxseed, chocolate chips and sea salt.  Add peanut butter and honey and mix together.  Using your hands, knead mixture together thoroughly.

Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto a baking sheet, or use a mini ice cream scoop.  Using your hands, roll into balls.

Wrap kisses in squares of aluminum foil, twisting tops to seal, or store them unwrapped in an airtight container.

Chill Out [tip]: Store in the fridge for up to two weeks, or in the freezer for up to one month.
