Building Muscle as a Vegan or Vegetarian

Many people associate protein with animal products, especially when it comes to training.  As a personal trainer, I was guilty of this myself in the past.  Constantly giving clients advice about eating grilled chicken or hard-boiled egg whites and making sure they were getting enough whey protein in to their systems after a workout.  I have since educated myself a little more and realize that there are enough protein sources in plant-based products to sustain even the most advanced training athlete.
